Waste clearance is the part of a job most people think about last and regret first. Under the Environmental Protection Act 1990 you carry a duty of care for waste you produce, and that duty does not end when someone drives away with it. If your waste is later found fly-tipped, the liability comes back to you unless you can show it was handed to a registered carrier. That is why we issue a waste transfer note on every single clearance.

For households, waste clearance usually means the aftermath of something else — a move, a renovation, a bereavement or simply years of accumulation. We clear whole properties or single rooms, working to your pace and separating anything you want to keep before it leaves the house.

For landlords and letting agents, the pattern is end-of-tenancy. A property left with furniture, bedding, white goods and general mess needs to be empty and presentable before the next viewing, often within days. We handle these routinely across Birmingham, and the waste transfer note we supply is what allows a deposit deduction to be evidenced properly.

For builders and trades, we take construction and demolition waste: rubble, plasterboard, timber, bricks, tiles, soil, packaging and stripped-out kitchens and bathrooms. Plasterboard must be kept separate from general waste under gypsum disposal rules, so tell us if there is any and we will bring separate containers. Rubble and soil are priced by weight, typically £60-£90 per cubic metre.

For businesses, we clear offices, shops, restaurants, warehouses and industrial units, either as one-off clearances or on a scheduled contract. Confidential paperwork can be handled under a secure destruction process with a certificate, and IT equipment is processed under WEEE rules with data-bearing devices wiped or destroyed to standard.

Waste is sorted at our own transfer station rather than tipped as a mixed load. Metals go to scrap, timber is chipped, plasterboard goes to a gypsum recycler, green waste is composted, hardcore is crushed for aggregate, and textiles, furniture and working electricals are routed to reuse. Consistently more than 90% is diverted from landfill.
